Friendly Hills is a safe residential area and we thank everyday our Men and Women in Blue who protect all of us. Officer Boyer and Officer Hazel stood tall attempting to protect our community and the worst thing that could happen did.

On behalf of these Officers courage the Friendly Hills Property Owners is please to present to the W.P.O.A.  $2,500.00.

We ask that an appropriate share of this donation be shared By both of these Officers families in amounts determines to be just by the W.P.O.A.

Residential Burglary Safety Tips

Over the last week, there has been two residential burglaries in the Friendly Hills area. I wanted to ask you to pass on a few safety reminders to the area residents.

  1. When leaving your residence, please remember to lock and secure all windows and doors.
  2. Turn on any residential alarms when leaving.
  3. Make sure all exterior lightings are in properly working condition.
  4. Keep surrounding vegetation low to allow proper visibility in all areas around residence.
  5. Be a good neighbor and report any suspicious activity to the police.

Thank you for taking the time to partner with us as we strive to make Whittier safer.

John and Diane Tilton

John and Diane Tilton show their love for the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team over their 4-car garage at 16127 Youngwood Drive. The Tiltons earned a beautification award in April 2016 for their extensive remodeling efforts from the FHPOA.

The Tiltons are L.A. Clippers season-ticket holders.

A spiral staircase leads to a 1,200-square-foot guest house at the Tilton home.

An iron duck bought at a swap meet in Orange County keeps watch at John and Diane’s 3,000-square-foot ranch-style home that overlooks Murphy Ranch Park.

A dry riverbed with drought-tolerant plants leads to an Amish-style gazebo in the Tilton’s back yard.
