Thank you for posting the information regarding vehicle burglary prevention on the website. I appreciate your helping us to get the word out.We also have another area of concern that has just come to light. Over the last approximate 24 hours, we have had four residential burglaries in the Friendly Hills area. The locations of occurrence, time of day, method of operation, and the type of property taken suggest that it could be the same suspect. We would like our residents to remain vigilant and to call us if they see anyone or anything that appears suspicious. The suspect/s could be traveling on foot, bicycle or in a vehicle.
February 4 – Reported at 1959 8400 Block of Enramada Suspect entered through the rear pedestrian door of the home by breaking the glass. The home was equipped with an alarm.
February 4 – Reported at 2038 8200 Block of Seranata Suspect smashed rear window to gain entry to the home.
February 5 – Reported at 1943 15700 Block of Mar Vista Suspect climbed onto the second story balcony off the rear of the home and smashed a window smash. The home was equipped with an alarm.
February 5 – Reported at 2015 15400 Block of Mar Vista Suspect climbed onto the second story balcony off the rear of the home and smashed a window smash.
